Tata Tiago EV LR XT Range

Tata has launched the Tiago EV in Mid-Range (MR) and Long-Range (LR) which is available from the second-based model i.e. XT. So, based on where will you use the EV car, either from home to office (within the city) or for a long route (from one state to another or from one city to another), you can opt for Tiago EV MR or Tiago EV LR respectively.

As the company offers the LR from a second base model, let’s find out what is Tiago EV LR XT range and what extra will you get in this hatchback electric car.

Tiago EV which offers medium range, comes with a battery capacity of 19.2 kWh, while the long-range variant comes with a battery capacity of 24 kWh. This is the main difference between MR and LR and here LR offers more range than the MR variant. As this 24 kWh battery capacity option is available from the XT variant, let’s have a look at what would be the Tata Tiago EV LR XT Range.

As per the official data, published on the Tata Motors website (even in the brochure), the Tata Tiago EV LR XT offers a range of 315 KM. On in 1 charge from 0 to 100%, you can drive Tiago EV to 315 KM.

As this model comes with more battery capacity, Tata has offered a more powerful electric motor of 55 kW in Tiago EV. This generates a power of 73.75 bhp, hence you get better torque of 114 Nm. Here’s a quick summary of the Tiago EV LR XT Model:

In real conditions, the Tiago EV LR XT range would likely be less than what the company claims. According to Tiago EV buyers, the long-range variant will provide a range on Indian roads of around 270 to 280 km. Additionally, factors such as weight and travel conditions, such as hilly terrain or rough roads, could further reduce the range of the Tiago EV LR XT.
